We had a pork hamburger with egg, ham and cheese pancake, hashbrown and cheese pancake, fried dumplings and some extra hotdogs. Wanted to try the scallion eggs but sadly it wasn't available. Soy milk and red tea was good too. Total damage NTD 250, great value! English translations available directly in the laminated menu, very nice mature man cooking with 2 younger folks running the shop. Highly recommended.

All the starch you could ever want for breakfast. Nice little short-order breakfast place. Cheap and cheerful, nothing out of the ordinary. Plenty of options to mix and match into the order.
Fast paced Taiwanese breakfast restaurant. The environment was humid and stuffy. Ventilation was poor. Service was good, lady boss was attentive and offered us English menu. The omelette was not too oily. We ordered vegetable omelette and pork cutlet omelette. There was sauce drizzled over so it’s best to have it asap otherwise the crispy crust would turn soggy!! Egg and cheese toasted sandwich was mediocre. The milk tea was made with powdered creamer. The carrot cake was decent, not oily
Awesome breakfast joint with no frills and just good food. The boss worked very hard to make sure we get food fast. The fried dumplings were insanely good. Hanbao and the pork omelet also hit the spot. It's foreigner friendly with an English menu option as well. We went early at 6am and there was no line.
Breakfast was great! Prepared by a local Taiwanese uncle, and run as a family business. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the authenticity of local Taiwanese culture ????????

Okay, this is a hole in the wall but if you want to experience a taiwanese breakfast the way the locals do, then this is the place. Quite inexpensive and the food was really tasty.
The 蛋饼 Danbing is extra good. jet lagged so up at 4 this morning. Did a short work out and walked over from hotel to this nice Taiwanese breakfast joint. They specialize in breakfast and close before 1pm but are open ar 4am so great for early birds. The owner is diligent and fast making dozens of dishes from a few core ingredients. Others there seemed like regulars. It’s nice to go to a place where you can get to see the proprietor behind it versus a machine you order from. Increasingly rare as time marches on. The prices are fair. The food is good. A great bet at 4-6am before most other places open.
